The price of Manuka Honey commands much higher prices due to its unique properties.  So, more and more people are jumping on the Manuka Honey train, trying to make a quick buck by selling other types of honey as Manuka Honey.  This has led to our major export markets imposing strict new restrictions on importing Manuka Honey, which are being enforced from the 1^st January 2015.

We at Ora Honey believe in transparency, and therefore we get all our honey tested.  We use the UMF testing method for rating our manuka honey.  For all our other blends, we get the pollen content of the honey tested to ensure that what we are selling you is actually the product we say it is!  We have a new website coming in early 2015, so watch this space - all our tests will be uploaded so you can verify which batch you have purchased, and if it is genuine Ora Honey product.
